A month of 1-on-1 divorce coaching with Corey Shapiro. One private call, then 30 days of direct access while you act on what you learned.
Get Clarity
You already know something is off.
Maybe you read every text three times before you send it. You agree to things just to keep the temperature down, and a week later you realize what you gave away. You cannot tell anymore if you are being careful or being played.
Or maybe you are past that. You are done absorbing. You want to push back hard, and part of you knows that one angry email could cost you more than a year of being patient ever did.
Both of those are the same problem. You are making high-stakes decisions inside a process you have never seen before, against someone who is not playing by the rules you keep following. Your friends mean well and get it wrong. Your therapist helps you feel better but cannot tell you what the other lawyer is doing. You do not need more opinions. You need someone who has watched hundreds of these unfold and can tell you what is actually happening in yours.
Who this is for
Get Clarity exists for three kinds of people. People outside New York who listen to the podcast or read the book and wish they could just ask Corey directly. Coaching is not legal representation, so it works in all fifty states. People who are not ready to hire an attorney yet but are already making decisions that will shape the whole case, what to say, what to sign, when to move. And people who already have an attorney but need a second brain, someone to pressure-test the strategy and translate what is happening, billed by the month instead of by the tenth of an hour.
If your divorce is mutual and cooperative, you probably do not need this. This is for the other kind. The kind where your willingness to be reasonable keeps getting used against you.
What a month looks like
It starts with one private 60-minute video call. You bring your situation. Corey brings 25 years of high-conflict family law. You leave the call with a clear read on where you actually stand, what is likely coming next, and what to do and not do first.
Then the month begins. For 30 days you have direct 1-on-1 access to Corey by text and email. New letter from the other lawyer? Send it. Spouse suddenly cooperative and you do not trust it? Ask. About to respond to something at midnight? Do not. Write to Corey instead. There is no cap on messages. Replies come within 48 hours on business days and usually much faster. The 30 days start after your call, so the support covers the period when you are actually acting on what you learned.
Who you are talking to
Corey Shapiro has spent 25 years inside high-conflict family law in New York City, as a divorce attorney and as a mediator. Before any of that, he was a child of divorce. He wrote Getting Divorced Without Losing Your Mind and hosts the podcast of the same name. He has sat across from every kind of spouse and every kind of lawyer you are afraid of, and he knows which of your fears are real and which ones are costing you sleep for nothing.
What it costs
$2,500 for the month, due at booking. No automatic renewal. If you want another month when it ends, you book it.
For scale: a retainer in a contested divorce typically runs to five figures before anyone has appeared in court, and the meter runs from there. One bad concession made under pressure, one email sent in anger, one agreement signed because you just wanted it over, any of those can cost more than this month many times across the life of a case. This is the least expensive serious help you will be offered in your divorce. It is priced so that using it is an easy decision and wasting it is not.
What this is not
This is coaching, not legal representation. Corey will not appear in court for you, draft or review legal documents, negotiate with opposing counsel, or contact your spouse or the court. No attorney-client relationship is created, and these conversations are not protected by attorney-client privilege. He will tell you directly if a question needs a retained attorney instead. Coaching works alongside an attorney, or before you have one. It does not replace one.
Questions people ask before booking
Do I have to live in New York? No. Coaching is available anywhere in the country. That is much of the point.
I already have an attorney. Is this still useful? Often most useful. Your attorney handles the case. Corey helps you handle the case, the decisions, the pressure, the reading of what the other side is doing, without a clock running on every question.
We have not filed anything yet. Too early? The opposite. The weeks before anything is filed are when the most expensive mistakes get made, because nobody is advising you yet.
Is it confidential? Corey will not share your communications with anyone, including your spouse or their attorney, except as required by law. But coaching is not privileged the way a retained attorney's advice is, and the terms explain that distinction plainly before you book.
What happens after the 30 days? It ends. If you want more, you book another month at the current rate. Most people use one month at a turning point.
What if I need to cancel? Cancel more than 24 hours before your call for a full refund. The full terms are on the booking page.
When you are ready
Booking takes two minutes. Pick a time, agree to the terms, and your month is on the calendar. Come with your hardest questions.
